AI and Generative AI

What is Artificial Intelligence?

Simulating human intelligence processes by machines, especially computers is referred to as Artificial Intelligence(AI). Use cases for AI include natural language processing, expert systems, speech recognition and machine vision and others.

Popular examples like ChatGPT, which is based on GPT-3, allow users to generate an essay based on a short text request. Other examples include the ability to generate photorealistic images from a text input.

What is Generative AI?

Generative AI is a type of Artificial Intelligence where users are enabled to quickly generate new content based on a variety of inputs.

Inputs and outputs to these AI models can be sounds, images, text, animation, 3D models, or other types of data.

Generative AI models use neural networks to identify the patterns and structures within existing data to generate new and original content.
